Thea is a Senior Associate, Forests & Climate at Mighty Earth, focused on campaigns transforming forest industries in Africa and South East Asia.
She previously worked as Coordinator to the Director General at Consumers International, providing administrative, research and campaign support on cross-cutting consumer issues including product safety, digital finance, and sustainable consumption. Thea has also worked on several refugee rights campaigns at Climate Refugees and Conversations Over Borders, defending the rights of migrants, asylum seekers and displaced people across the world.
Thea completed her Masters in Migration and Global Development from the University of Sussex, and focused her thesis on the links between climate change and migration in Mexico. She has an undergraduate degree in French and History from the University of Leeds, with a year spent studying at Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France.
