Nadine (instagram @nadineformiga) is the Geospatial Data Intern at Mighty Earth. Originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil, she is a rising senior at Dartmouth, majoring in Geography and minoring in Sustainable Energy and Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies. Nadine is also a dedicated climate and human-rights activist, currently raising funds and organizing environmental education events to support climate refugees displaced by flooding in her hometown.
Prior to joining the Mighty team, she has organized sustainability events with Future Earth, and served as a Research Assistant in the Energy Justice Clinic at Dartmouth. A fun fact about Nadine is that she was born on Friday the 13th—anytime she sees a black cat, she has a great day.
