Katie is the Forests & Climate Associate at Mighty Earth. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Public Policy and Global Sustainability and a minor in Dance.
Prior to joining Mighty Earth, Katie was a researcher in the Federal Research Division at the Library of Congress. She has worked in environmental advocacy at the local, state, and national levels as a fellow for the State Climate Policy Network at Climate XChange, a fellow at the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition, and an intern working to advance alternative proteins at Food Solutions Action.
In her free time, Katie makes zines, takes dance classes, and trains for half marathons.
