Katie Yared

Katie is a Senior Forests & Climate Associate at Mighty Earth campaigning on commodity deforestation across Asia. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Public Policy and Global Sustainability & a minor in dance.

Prior to joining Mighty Earth, Katie was a researcher in the Federal Research Division at the Library of Congress. She also worked as a fellow for the State Climate Policy Network at Climate XChange and an intern working to advance alternative proteins at Food Solutions Action.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys running, yoga, and digging for vintage clothes.
