Jackson is the Senior Associate for Deforestation Monitoring at Mighty Earth, where he is responsible for tracking and reporting on deforestation across Southeast Asia, West Africa, and Latin America. Jackson graduated from Dartmouth College in 2020 with a dual degree in Geography and Computer Science.
Prior to Mighty Earth, Jackson worked as a researcher at the George Mason / Harvard University Center for Spatiotemporal Innovation, a web developer for the artistic portfolio startup ILWE.io, and an intern at the renewable energies company 3Degrees.
Jackson spends as much of his free time as possible in either a wetsuit or drysuit, in the ocean or on a river.
