She has led high-impact advocacy efforts in Brazil and internationally, combining planning, content production, and digital innovation to support social and environmental justice.
At Mighty Earth, Brenda serves as the Protein Transition COP30 Associate, supporting campaigns in the lead-up to the UN Climate Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil. Her work focuses on pushing agribusiness giants—especially in the meat and soy sectors—to adopt sustainable practices and end deforestation. She also supports broader climate and nature initiatives.
Certified by Social Movement Technologies in digital campaigning for social justice, Brenda brings a creative and data-informed approach to movement-building. She is also the author of Amazônia em Oito Horas, a journalistic investigation into wildlife exploitation in the Amazon, and the screenwriter of Periferia é Periferia, a documentary highlighting grassroots initiatives across Brazil.
