Alex Armstrong

As Vice President of External Affairs, Alex oversees Mighty Earth’s global communications and policy advocacy.

Alex has a bachelor’s degree in history and government from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in political science from Yale University. He has an extensive background in strategic campaigns and communications from his time in electoral politics and previous positions at M+R Strategic Services, SKDKnickerbocker, Oceana, Waxman Strategies, and The Nature Conservancy. He has also served on his city’s Pension Board and Sewer Commission.

Alex lives with his wife, two daughters, and a dog in Milford, Connecticut, where they enjoy exploring the state’s many parks, museums, and beaches.
